Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using Creator Studio, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Who we are
Creator Studio (also referred to as “VidPilot”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an online platform for creating, editing, and publishing video and related media content.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our website and services (the “Service”).
Contact: [email protected]
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through use of the Service, and information from connected third-party platforms when you authorize them.
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), profile details you choose to add.
- Content you create or upload: scripts, media files, project data, captions, and publish settings.
- Usage and device/log data: IP address, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages visited, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Billing information: subscription and payment status processed by our payment providers (we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers).
- Communications: messages you send to support.
3. Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
If you connect Facebook or Instagram through our Publish features, we use Meta’s OAuth / Facebook Login (or related Instagram Graph APIs) with your permission. Depending on the permissions you grant, we may receive information such as:
- Basic profile identifiers (for example user ID, name, and profile picture where provided by Meta).
- Account and page information needed to publish content you authorize (for example Instagram Business / Facebook Page identifiers associated with your connection).
- Tokens that allow us to act on your behalf only for the scopes you approved (such as publishing content you schedule or send through Creator Studio).
4. How we use Meta-related data
We use Meta-related data solely to provide the features you request:
- Link your Creator Studio account to your Facebook/Instagram accounts.
- Display connection status (for example nickname or avatar) in the Publish UI.
- Upload or publish videos and related metadata that you explicitly choose to publish.
- Refresh or revoke tokens as needed to keep or disconnect the integration.
5. TikTok
If you connect TikTok, we use TikTok Login Kit and/or Content Posting APIs with your permission. Depending on the scopes you grant, we may receive:
- Basic user information required to identify your TikTok account connection (such as open ID and display name where provided).
- Access and refresh tokens used to publish videos you create or select in Creator Studio to your TikTok account.
6. How we use TikTok-related data
TikTok data is used only to connect your account, show connection status, and publish content you explicitly submit for posting to TikTok. We do not use TikTok data to build advertising profiles for sale to third parties.
7. We do not sell your personal data
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
We may share data with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example cloud hosting, databases, email, analytics limited to operating the Service, AI model providers that generate content you request, and payment processors), under contractual obligations to protect it.
8. Why we process data
We process personal data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- Communicate with you about the Service.
9. Retention, access, and deletion
We retain account and content data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements.
You may disconnect social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and others we support) from your Creator Studio account at any time, which stops new publishing via that connection. Token revocation may also be available via the respective platform’s settings.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or deletion of your Creator Studio account, by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period subject to applicable law.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
